Three people were killed in separate road accidents at Godagari upazila in Rajshahi on Sunday.
The deceased were identified as Emadad Hossain Chandu, 50, son of Emaj Uddin of Faradpur village in Godagari upazila, KhusbuTajnim, 14, daughter of Sanarul Islam of same village, and meat trader Jashimuddin, 22, son of Toslim Uddin of Kasaipara area of Achuavata in the upazila, reports UNB.
Officer-in-charge of Godagari Model Police Station Jahangir Alam said a Chapainawabganj bound truck hit a motorcycle at Chhoyghati area, killing Emdad and Khusbu on the spot around 10:00am.
Meanwhile, driver of another truck lost control over the steering and hit a roadside meat shop, killing Jashim on the spot.
