The results of SSC and equivalent examinations will be published on May 6, a government official said on Wednesday.

Secondary and Higher Education Division’s Additional Secretary Md Mohiuddin Khan confirmed that the results would be published on the day.

As many as two million students took part in the Secondary School Certificate or SSC and equivalent exams this year, according to a bdnews24 report.

The education minister then holds a news conference at the Secretariat highlighting key points. The examinees can check their results following the education minister’s news conference.

The SSC and equivalent theory exams were held between Feb 1 and Feb 25, while the practical exams were held between Feb 26 and Mar 4.

This year, 2,031,889 students participated in their SSC and equivalent exams at 3,412 centres.

In the past few years, the results of the SSC and HSC exams have been released within 60 days from the end of the theory exams.
