RAJUK evicts illegal building portions in Mirpur

Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (RAJUK) conducted an eviction drive in the city's Mirpur residential area on Monday and removed unauthorised portion of a number of buildings.

 A BSS report says the city development based body also imposed a fine of TK 2.3 million.

 A mobile court of RAJUK, led by its executive magistrate Khandakar Oliur Rahman and authorised officer of Zone-3 Md Mobarak Hossain conducted the drive at Mirpur Section-10 on Monday morning and fined Tk 2.3 million for building illegal construction on the ground floor, car-parking and shops in separate holdings there.

RAJUK Assistant Authorised Officer Rohan Mandal and other officials were present in the operation, saying the drive will continue against un-authorised buildings, restaurants and constructing shops and ramps in the residential areas under the metropolitan.
