The Election Commission (EC) has decided to hold the polls of three city corporations—Rajshahi, Sylhet, Barishal—on July 30.
The decision was taken in a meeting of the EC on Tuesday.
After the meeting, Chief Election Commissioner KM Nurul Huda disclosed about the decision on the three city corporations elections, bdnews24 reported.
According to the election schedule, the deadline for the submission of nomination papers is June 28, while the dates for scrutinising those are July 1 and 2, and the last date for withdrawal of candidature is July 9.
