Several places in the country including Dhaka are likely to witness rain commencing from 9:00am in the next 24 hours, the met office said in a forecast.
Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur in some places over Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions, while in one or two places over Rajshahi & Dhaka divisions and the region of Cumilla, the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) said in the forecast on Sunday.
In its outlook for the next 72 hours, it said rain or thundershowers are likely to increase.
