Rain/thunder showers, accompanied by temporary gusty wind, is likely to occur at a few places over Mymensingh, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places in Dhaka division, according to a met office bulletin.
However, the met office bulletin valid for 24 hours commencing at 9:00 am on Friday, said a mild heat wave is sweeping over the districts of Rajshahi andPabna and it may continue.
In its outlook for the next seven-hour, it said rain/thunder showers activity is likely to occur in different parts of the country.
The highest temperature was recorded at 37.8 degree Celsius in Rajshahi while the lowest temperature was reported at 19.3 degree Celsius in Tetulia.
Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy and adjoining areas, it said, adding that seasonal low lies over South Bay.
Day and night temperatures may remain nearly unchanged over the country, as per the bulletin.
