Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur in different regions, including some parts of Dhaka in the country on Friday and it may continue until Saturday, according to an official at Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD).
Talking to The Financial Express, Abdul Mannan, a BMD meteorologist said rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Khulna and Rajshahi divisions including some parts of Dhaka.
The forecast is valid from today evening until Saturday evening, he added.
The BMD in a weather forecast this morning said weather may remain mainly dry with a temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country.
In its 24-hour forecast, the Met Office said day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
A trough of low lies over West Bengal and adjoining area it said, adding that seasonal low lies over South Bay.
In its next 72-hour forecast, the Met Office said no marked change.
The sun sets at 6:06pm on Friday, according to the Met Office forecast, while it rises at 6:13am on Saturday in Dhaka.
