Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at some places of seven divisions including Dhaka in the next 24-hour beginning from this morning, according to a weather forecast.
In its 72-hour outlook, Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) said weather may improve at the end period.
The lowest temperature, 9.4 degree Celsius, was recorded in Tetulia, the northern part of the country on Sunday, while Dhaka recorded the lowest 15.4 degree Celsius.
Trough of westerly low lies over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and adjoining area, it said adding that seasonal low lies over South Bay.
The weather may remain mainly dry with partly cloudy skies elsewhere over the country, it said, adding that light fog may occur at places over the country during the early morning.
Night temperature may rise slightly and day temperature may fall by (1-2)°C over the country, according to the forecast.
