The members of Reporters against Corruption (RAC) elected its new president and general secretary on Friday.
Mohiuddin Ahmed and Ahammad Foyez have been elected president and general secretary of RAC respectively for the next one year.
Mr Ahmed of Gazi Television has bagged 44 votes out of total 73 while Mr Foyez serving New Age got 51 votes in an election held at an convention hall in the city’s Segun Bagicha area.
The annual general meeting (AGM) of RAC was also held before voting.
Through election, RAC has formed a 21-member executive committee for one year.
