A senior official of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) died after being hit by a container in Kamalapur Railway Station in Dhaka city on Tuesday night.
The victim was Sergeant Md Abu Zafar of Communication and MIS Wing of RAB Headquarter.
According RAB, the accident happened at around 8:00 pm in the railway station while Zafar was receiving a RAB consignment, leaving him critically injured, UNB reported.
He was admitted to CMH Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries moments later.
