Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) claimed arrest of two alleged members of the banned militant outfit Jama’atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) in Rajshahi city early Wednesday.
The arrestees were Atiul Islam, 22, son of late Maulana Farid Uddin of Paschim Sherpur village in Parbatipur upazila of Dinajpur district and Mokhsedul Islam, 22, son of late Abu Taleb Ali of Kumedpur village in Palashbari upazila of Gaibandha district.
UNB said a team of the elite force conducted the drive in the area around 2:30am and arrested them along with 1.28 kilograms gunpowder, electric switch, circuits, battery, and super glue electric wire.
