A socio-cultural organisation arranged a programme on Saturday marking Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibar Rahman’s acceptance of Julio Curie medal.
The Julio Curie Bangabandhu Shanti Sangsad organised the programme at National Press Club in the capital city.
Prime Minister's International Relations Adviser Gawher Rizvi was invited to attend the programme as the chief guest, said a press release.
Adviser of the Julio Curie Bangabandhu Shanti Sangsad Monaem Sarker spoke on the occasion, among others.
Ali Aksad, from his international working group World Peace Council, initiated the prize for Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibar Rahman.
