A printing press employee died from electrocution at Fakirerpool area of Dhaka city on Thursday.
The deceased was identified as Mohammad Rana, 20, an employee of 'Shamim Binding' near Fakirerpool Water Tank and son of Mosharraf Hossain of Daulatpur upazila in Manikganj district.
Victim's brother Shamim said Rana came in contact with a live electric wire in the afternoon while switching on a motor to lift water from the reserve tank, reports UNB.
He was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where doctors declared him dead around 6:00pm.
