President Abdul Hamid offered ziarat at the shrines of Hazrat Shahjalal (R) and Hazrat Shahparan (R) in Sylhet on Thursday afternoon.
President Hamid, who arrived here by a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight to attend the convocation of Sylhet Agricultural University, first went to the mazar of Hazrat Shahjalal (R) and offered Fateha and munajat.
Later, the President visited the mazar of Hazrat Shahparan (R) on the outskirts of the city and offered Fateha and munajat there.
President's wife Rashida Khanam accompanied him, reports UNB.
Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid, secretaries concerned to the President and senior military and civil high officials were present.
