President Md Abdul Hamid hosted a dinner in honour of the Prime Minister, Speaker, Cabinet members and lawmakers at Bangabhaban on Wednesday evening.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Jatiya Sangsad Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury, former President HM Ershad, Opposition Leader Raushon Ershad and Chief Whip ASM Feroz, among others, attended the dinner.
Earlier, the President received the Prime Minister with a bouquet upon her arrival at the Bangabhaban around7:30 pm.
Later, they entered the Darbar Hall and exchanged pleasantries with the Cabinet members and MPs.
According to UNB, the dinner was followed by a cultural function performed by the Shilpakala Academy artistes.
