President Md Abdul Hamid has returned home from the United Kingdom after undergoing eye treatment and medical tests.
A VIP Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight carrying the president landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 8:45am, said President's Deputy Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad on Monday.
President Hamid was welcomed home by Finance Minister AMA Muhith and Agriculture Minister Matia Chowdhury, among others.
Abdul Hamid took his checkup at Moorfields Eye Hospital and Bupa Cromwell Hospital in London. He left Dhaka for London on October 21.
