President Abdul Hamid on Thursday gave assent to five bills passed in the 20th session of the 10th Jatiya Sangsad.
The bills are: the "Bangladesh Council of Scientific and Industrial Research Council (BCSIR) (Amendment) Bill, 2018", the "Buddhist Religious Welfare Trust Bill, 2018", the "Christian Religious Welfare Trust Bill, 2018", the "Gazipur Metropolitan Police Bill, 2018" and the "Rangpur Metropolitan Police Bill, 2018," a Parliament Secretariat press release said, reports BSS.
