Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader on Tuesday said that Tarique Rahman is enough to intensify the crisis of BNP.
The Road Transport and Bridges Minister came up with this remarks while talking with the reporters after reviewing the Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) mobile court at Airport Road in Dhaka.
Terming BNP a big political party, he said, Awami League doesn't want any split in it. If the party gets split then BNP itself will be responsible for that, he said.
"We will not intensify BNP's crisis. Tarique Rahman alone is enough for it", he said.
He also noted that the ruling party wants competition in the election with the participation of a big party like BNP.
"We will not be happy if BNP walks out from the election, it will be nothing encouraging for us," said the minister.
UNB said, Quader wondered how will they (BNP) continue movement if they stay indoors.
The court will take the final decision whether Khaleda Zia will get bail or not, the government has no control over it, he added.
