Police arrested 10 leaders and activists of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami while they were allegedly holding a secret meeting in a building at Barnali intersection of Rajshahi on Monday morning.
Witnesses said, a number of police cordoned off the five-storey building around 9 am on information and arrested Professor Mujibur Rahman, acting Ameer of central committee along with other activists.
The law enforcers also arrested Rajshahi Jamaat unit secretary Siddique Hossain, reports UNB.
