Five-day long ‘Police Week’ will kick off on Monday with the motto 'Police Janata Oikya Gori, Madok-Jongi Nirmul Kori'.
The event will conclude on February 8.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is expected to inaugurate the programme at the Rajarbagh Police Lines parade ground in the capital.
In the inaugural ceremony, she will hand over medals to 349 police officials for their bravery, heroism, skills, honesty and great service dispensed in 2018.
