The bodies of a missing grandmother and her grandson were found dead in a house of an Italy-expatriate at Mijmiji Kandapara in Siddirganj upazila on Thursday morning.
The deceased were Parvin Begum, 50, caretaker of the house and her grandson Mehedi, 9.
Mohammad Sarfuddin, additional superintendent of police (Zone-Ka) of Narayanganj, said.
Local people smelt stench coming from the locked house of Tofazzal Hossain, an expatriate of Italy and informed police, as per UNB report.
Police later recovered the bodies from the house, he added.
The elderly woman and her grandson, who used to live at a room of the house, might have been strangled to death, he added.
