Police arrested a total of 86 suspects from different parts of Satkhira and Dinajpur districts from Thursday evening to Friday morning.
Sub-inspector Azam Khan of Special Branch Satkhira district police said they conducted the drive and arrested 63 suspects on various charges.
The arrestees are wanted in various cases, including planning sabotage and drug peddling filed with different police stations of Satkhira, he said.
Police also recovered 40 bottles of phensedyl syrup, 91 pieces of yaba tablets and some other drugs during the drive, reports UNB.
In Dinajpur, law enforcers, in special drive arrested 23 people including eight drug traders from different areas of the district in last 12-hour ending at 8:00am on Friday morning.
Cops also seized 324 bottles of phensedyl syrup during the drive, according to BSS.
Police said they were picked up from different areas of the district on different charges.
Several cases, including charges of subversive activities, are pending with different police stations against the arrestees, the sources added.
Meanwhile, members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) in a drive detained four drug pedlars along with 220 bottles of phensedyl syrup at around 8:00am from Hili Railway Station in Hakimpur upazila of the Dinajpur.
Later, the detainees were handed over to the Hakimpur Thana police, BGB said.
The arrestees were sent to jail.
