Police arrest 10 Ansar men over theft from DESCO

Police have arrested some 10 members of Bangladesh Ansar and VDP over a recent act of theft from an office of DESCO—Dhaka Electric Supply Company Limited.

Officer-in-Charge Firoz Talukder said the city power distribution company's Tongi office handed over the security men after filing a case with them on Saturday night.

According to the case, a few days back, a good number of nuts and bolts of DESCO worth Tk 25,000 were stolen from its Tongi office, when these Ansar men were on duty.
