Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is scheduled to inaugurate the Itna-Mithamoin-Astagram all-weather road in Kishoreganj on Thursday.
She will inaugurate it through a videoconference on Thursday morning, said Executive Engineer of Kishoreganj Roads and Highways Department Mohammad Rashedul Alam, reports UNB.
The government has built a 47-kilometre high and 35-kilometre submersible road under the Road and Highways Department, involving Tk 12.68 billion.
Officials say, the road will be connected to Sylhet-Brahmanbaria road in future and a plan has been taken to build a flyover on it.
