PM makes courtesy call on President

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina made a courtesy call on President Md Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban in Dhaka on Monday evening.

President’s Press Secretary Mohammad Joynal Abedin said the Prime Minister discussed development progress of different government activities with the President, reports BSS.

The premier apprised the President of the outcomes of various development projects and policies being implemented after getting cabinet nods, he said.

During the meeting, the head of the state and the head of the government discussed different issues, including the parliamentary activities.

Earlier, Sheikh Hasina reached Bangabhaban around 7.30 pm and presented a bouquet to the President.

On her arrival, the Prime Minister was received by President Abdul Hamid with a flower bouquet.

Secretaries concerned and high officials of both the President and Prime Minister’s offices were present.
