Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has left New York for Dhaka after wrapping up her weeklong visit to the United States to attend the 73rd UN General Assembly session.
A British Airways Flight carrying the Prime Minister took off from New York John F Kennedy International airport on Saturday at 8:20pm (local time), reports UNB.
Bangladesh Ambassador to the USA Mohammad Ziauddin and Bangladesh Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the UN Masud Bin Momen saw the Prime Minister off at the airport.
Sheikh Hasina is scheduled to arrive in Dhaka on Monday morning via London where she will make a stopover for several hours.
