Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Monday expressed deep shock and sorrow at loss of lives after collapse of a girder at BRT project site on a car in the city’s Uttara area.
In a condolence message, the prime minister prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family, reports BSS.
The premier also prayed for a quick recovery of the injured people.
According to bdnews24.com, at least five people in a car were crushed to death after a girder of the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project fell on the vehicle in Uttara area on Monday afternoon.
