A man was shot during a clash between two people over 'transferring money through MFS' near Glorea Jeans cafe in the city's Gulshan area on Sunday.
The injured was identified as Aminul Islam, reports UNB.
A rickshawpuller was also slightly injured during the clash.
Abdul Ahad, deputy commissioner of Gulshan division, said Arif locked into an altercation with one Alim (an employee of a shop, over transferring money through Bikash near Gulshan DCC Market at Gulshan-1 behind Gloria Jeans cafe around 4:00 pm.
At one stage of brawl, Arif called his people and one of them opened fire that left two people wounded.
Aminul sustained bullet in his leg and rickshawpuller Abdur Rahim received slight injuries, he said.
Aminul was taken to United Hospital.
Police arrested a man from the spot.
