The ferry services on Paturia-Daulatia river route of
Manikganj district resumed on Sunday morning after 12 hours of disruption as due to bad weather triggered by cyclone ‘Bulbul’, reports UNB.
Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation (BIWTC)’s Aricha sector additional general manager Zillur Rahman said the authority resumed the ferry services from 10:00 am.
Earlier at around 10:00 pm on Saturday, the authorities suspended ferry services following stormy weather to avoid unwanted incidents, the official added.
