Ferry services on Paturia-Daulatdia route resumed early Wednesday after four and a half hours of disruption caused by thick fog.

Seven ferries remained stranded at Patuaria ghat and one at Daulatdia ghat while four ferries in the mid-river, reports a news agency.

Due to the ferry service disruption, hundreds of vehicle remained stuck in a long queue stretching five kilometres from Zero point at Doulatdia ghat, said the official.
