Another patient died of dengue early Wednesday at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).
The deceased was identified as Awlad Hossain, 32, son of Tofazzal Hossain of Paschim Bazi Kosba in Munshiganj Sadar. He worked in the readymade garment sector.
Awlad had been suffering from dengue fever for the last five days. He died around 4:20am, said DMCH Assistant Director Dr Md Nasir Uddin.
So far, 18 patients died of dengue at DMCH, he added, reports UNB.
