A CNG run auto-rickshaw driver was killed and two others injured when a truck hit a standby CNG auto-rickshaw in North Temuhoni area of Lakshmipur town this morning.
The deceased was identified as the auto-rickshaw driver Dukhu Miah.
According to police and witnesses, the accident occurred in the area when the Feni-bound truck, coming from Raipur, lost control and hit the standby CNG auto-rickshaw this morning, three drivers injured.
Later, police and locals rescued the injured and admitted them to Sadar Hospital, the on-duty doctors declared Dukhu Miah dead.
Police seized the truck and the CNG auto-rickshaw.
The truck driver and helper managed to escape, police said, reports BSS.
