A man was killed and four others were injured as they were in the ambulance that collided with a truck on Natore-Dhaka highway on Friday.
The deceased was identified as Ayub Ali, according to a report by UNB.
A Kushtia-bound ambulance from Rajshahi collided with a stationary CNG-run auto-rikshaw at Karbala in Baraigram upazila in the morning. The ambulance carrying the people then rammed into the truck leaving Ayub dead, said Mozammel Hossain, in-charge of Jhalmalaia Highway police camp.
The injured are being treated at Rajshahi Medical College and Hospital.
