A man was killed and 20 people were injured as a bus overturned on a road at Belpukur in Puthia upazila early Monday.
The deceased has been identified as Aminul Islam, 30, reports a news agency.
Senior Station officer Farhad Hossain Rupa of Rajshahi Sadar Fire Service and Civil Defence said that the Dhaka-bound 'Rupa Enterprise' bus from Chapainawabganj overturned on the road in front of Belpukur BGB checkpost around 12:45am, leaving 21 passengers injured.
The injured were rushed to Rajshahi Medical College and Hospital where doctors declared Aminul dead, said Mostafizur Rahman, sub-inspector of Shibpur Highway Police outpost.
