TIM Nurul Kabir has been elected District Governor of Rotary International Bangladesh District 3281 for Rotary Year 2023-2024 recently, according to a statement.
Mr Kabir served Club, District and Region of Rotary International in various capacities. He was the speaker and moderator at Rotary Institute. He has been elected as the Global President of Rotary History Fellowship for 2021-23. He has been actively engaged in different Global Grant projects and a TRF Cadre of Technical Advisor.
A professional for more than 37 years, he served many MNCs and organisations in different capacities. He is a renowned telecom expert and served Association of Mobile Telecom Operators of Bangladesh (AMTOB) as General Secretary and CEO.
Currently, he is the executive director and policy advisor of Foreign Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FICCI).
Mr. Kabir has been associated with many professional organisations and served DCCI and BASIS as senior vice president. He also led Bangladesh in many international events and policy dialogues.
He was the 75th president of Rotary Club of Dhaka. At present he is the member of Rotary Club of Dhanmondi Central.
