North South University (NSU) teacher Mubashar Hasan, nicknamed Caesar, returned his Banasree home in the capital early Friday, one and a half months after he had gone missing from Agargaon area.

“Caesar was dropped off by unknown people on the Airport Road. He then returned home by autorickshaw,” bdnews24 reported, quoting his father Motahar Hossain.

Jahangir Kabir Khan, inspector (investigation) of Khilgaon Police Station, also confirmed the teacher's safe return, according to a news agency report.

Dr Mubashar Hasan, an assistant professor at the School of Humanities and Social Sciences of the North South University, went missing on November 7 after he came out from a meeting of A2i project at IDB Bhaban in the city's Agargaon area.

Later, his father filed a general diary (GD) with the Khilgaon Police Station.
