Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu has said that the newly elected members of parliament (MPs) will take oath on Thursday (January 3).
"A gazette will be released before then,” he said during a discussion organised by Secretariat Reporters Forum at the Secretariat Media Centre on Tuesday.
Also president of Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JaSaD), he said, “Please forgive me for my inability to address certain problems. I am a man, not an angel or a devil.”
“The Grand Alliance is the alliance of the people. We have tried to work for the people in times of ease and in times of hardship. This is why the Grand Alliance has won by a massive vote margin.”
The Awami League-led Grand Alliance, of which Inu's JaSaD is part, won a landslide in the 11th general election held on Sunday.
