A new born baby boy was recovered from a bag left in front of a house at Shamibag in the capital's Gendaria area on Friday.
A local woman Romana Akhter found that an infant was moving inside the bag in the morning and took it to the Pediatric Ward of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), said Sub-inspector Bacchu Mia, in-charge of DMCH Police outpost, reports UNB.
The baby was admitted to the Pediatric Ward, the SI said quoting the duty doctor of the unit, adding that the baby has injury marks in his head.
