The Ministry of Agriculture on Monday extended the tenure of National Bee Fair-2018 (Jatiya Mou Mela) by one day following the demand of bee businessmen.
The ministry made the disclosure at a meeting, chaired by Director General of the Department of Agricultural Extension Md Abdul Aziz, in the city on Monday. Among others, Senior Secretary of Ministry of Agriculture Mohammad Moinuddin Abdullah was present as the chief guest.
The two-day fair kicked off at AKM Giasuddin Milky Auditorium in the capital city on Sunday. There are 60 stalls in the fair to showcase different varieties of honey.
