The National University (NU) has postponed all the examinations scheduled for Saturday.
“Unavoidable circumstances,” were behind such a decision, it said in a media statement on Friday.
A fresh schedule for the examinations will be announced later, the statement, posted on the university's website, added.
Meanwhile, the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and its equivalent examinations scheduled for Saturday were rescheduled to May 14.
Authorities attributed this rescheduling to cyclone Fani, which is likely to lash Bangladesh by this evening.
The very severe cyclonic storm Fani made landfall in India’s Odisha around 9:00am on Friday.
