A digital multi-level car parking system was installed at the Command and Control Centre of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) on Abdul Goni Road in the city on Tuesday.
"It's an unprecedented effort," Inspector General of Police Md Javed Patwary said while inaugurating the eight-story parking.
He said it was established on an experimental basis and the system will be gradually installed in big cities.
DMP Commissioner Md Asaduzzaman Mia, AIGP Md Moinur Rahman Chowdhury, Md Shafiqul Islam and other top DMP officials were present during the inauguration, reports UNB.
