MoU signed to help Bangladesh Air Force thwart cyber threats

The Digital Security Agency (DSA) and Bangladesh e-Government Computer Incident Response Team (BGD e-Gov CIRT) under Bangladesh Computer Council will help improve the capacity of the Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) to thwart growing cyber threats.

To this effect, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the DSA, BGD e-Gov CIRT and the Cyber Warfare and Information Technology Directorate under the BAF at a programme on Thursday, according to a press release.

State minister for information and communication technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak attended the event as the chief guest.

BGD e-GOV CIRT director Tarique M Barkatullah, DSA director (Administration and Finance) Md Abdus Sattar Sarkar, Cyber Warfare and Information Technology Directorate Director Air Commodore Md Touhidul Islam signed the MoU from their respective organisations.
