Three people, including a woman and her minor daughter, died in a road crash on Mymensingh-Haluaghat road in Tarakanda upazila of the district on Tuesday night.
At least 10 others were injured in the head-on collision between a bus and a lorry on at Madhupur village in the upazila.
The identities of the deceased could not be known in details immediately, reports UNB.
Locals said the Mymensingh-bound bus collided with the lorry around 9pm, leaving a man dead on the spot and 12 people injured.
The injured were taken to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital where duty doctors declared the woman and her daughter dead, said officer-in-charge of Tarakanda Police Station Mazharul Islam.
