Mobile internet services have been resumed since Tuesday morning after a suspension of about 37 hours.
The Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) has directed the mobile phone operators to restart the services at 10:30 am, said sources at the operators' end.
On December 30, the BTRC suspended the services from 9:30pm, said Jakir Hossain Khan, senior assistant director (media) of the telecom regulator.
During the period, people were not able to use the internet on their phones, stream or upload pictures or videos, reports UNB.
