A mobile court of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-3 today sentenced two persons to one year jail each for their involvement in snatching.
The convicted are Sohel Rana and Russel Ahmed, said senior ASP (media) Md Mizanur Rahman Bhuiyan.
He said the two convicted were arrested by RAB personnel while they were trying to flee after snatching money of a man at Suhrawardy Udyan here around 11am, reports BSS.
Later, they were produced before the mobile court and Executive Magistrate of RAB Sarwar Alam sentenced the duo for one year jail each.
