A mobile court of Dhaka North City Corporation (DSCC) conducted several drives at Gulshan area aiming to curb dengue mosquito breeding in the capital.
The court also fined Tk 0.2 million to the owner of NWB 28 (119) house at the area for presence of breeding ground for Aedes mosquito or larva on rooftop of the building.
Executive Magistrate of DNCC Mohammad Sajid Anowar led the drive.
The drives were on Wednesday conducted as per Local Government (City Corporation) Act, 2009.
Such drive of the DNCC will continue in the coming days to curb the dengue outbreak, according to a statement.
