A group of miscreants all on a sudden set fire to six buses in the capital on Thursday.
The buses were set on fire in different areas in the city between 12:00pm and 1:30pm, according to sources of Bangladesh Fire Service and Civil Defence.
However, no casualties were reported anywhere.
The incidents occurred in the city’s Khilgaon, in front of Awami League office on Bangabandhu Avenue, Motijheel, Secretariat intersection, Bongshal and Shahbagh.
The reason behind the fire and damage caused could not be known immediately.
Law enforcers could not unearth the reasons behind the sabotage immediately.
