Health and Family Welfare Minister Zahid Maleque called for increasing the allotment for the health sector in the upcoming budget, aiming to take healthcare services to every doorstep.
The government showed a success in providing good healthcare to people of the country having limited budget in last financial years, he said.
He remarked those at a press briefing at the ministry on Thursday marking the World Health Day.
Currently, a total of 14, 000 community clinics are proving healthcare to people across the country in where about 100 people use to take healthcare from a single clinic apart from getting free medicine, he mentioned.
