Food Minister Quamrul Islam has sought support from all stakeholders, including private sector, to ensure safe food healthy life of the people.
Alongside the government's efforts, all stakeholders should extend their support, he told a function of Institution of Diploma Engineers, Bangladesh (IDEB) in Dhaka on Friday.
A press release of IDEB said. IDEB Food Engineers Association organised the function, reports BSS.
President of Bangladesh Beverage Association Harunur Rashid, IDEB President AKM Hamid and representatives of different organisations, among others, addressed the function.
Convenor of the Food Engineers Association Manzurul Rashid presided over the programme.
Quamrul said Bangladesh has achieved self-sufficiency in food as the government has implemented various programmes to increase food production in the country.
