Mild to moderate cold wave may continue

Mild to moderate cold wave is sweeping over Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions and the districts of Tangail, Gopalgonj, Faridpur, Madaripur, Rangamati, Feni, Moulvibazer, Jashore, Kushtia, Chuadanga, Barishal and Bhola, and the upazila of Sitakunda and it may continue.

The weather may remain dry with the temporary partly cloudy sky over the country, reports BSS citing a press release that was issued at 9:00 am Sunday.

Moderate to thick fog may occur over the north-western part and river- basins and light to moderate fog may occur elsewhere over the country from midnight to morning.

Night and day temperatures may rise slightly over the country.

Ridge of Sub-continental high extends up to West Bengal and adjoining western part of Bangladesh. Seasonal low lies over South Bay.

The country’s maximum temperature on Saturday was recorded 23.7degrees Celsius at Kutubdia and the minimum temperature today (Sunday) was recorded 6.8 degrees Celsius at Tetulia.

Today’s sunset at 5.43 am and tomorrow’s sunrise at 6.40 am at Dhaka.
